    A) Answer these questions.

    (iii) What did Mamta do on seeing the axemen?

    Read the passage carefully and answer the questions given under it.

    Mrs Kapoor took a chair into the garden and sat on it. She sliced an apple and ate it. Then she started reading a newspaper.

    Mrs Kapoor’s house keeper Moti, ran to her and said, “Madam, Master is lying on the floor in his room. He has become unconscious.”

    Mrs Kapoor said, “What else did he see in the room?” “He took a paper out of the bag and read it,” said Moti.

    Mrs Kapoor, “Oh, don’t worry Moti, Master will be all right. I had been to market. The paper must have been the bill.”

    1. Mrs. Kapoor sat in the garden.

    3. Moti came running to Mrs. Kapoor because Mr. Kapoor was lying on the floor in his room and had become unconscious.
