Sir,
I would like to draw your attention to the cutting of trees prevailing in our area. Recently, I witnessed some people cutting down a green, flourishing tree near my house for what seemed to be a commercial purpose.
Trees are valuable to all of us. They bring rain, keep the air clean, provide fruits, and add beauty to the environment. However, such reckless actions pose a serious threat to the environment and disturb the delicate balance of our ecology. If we continue to allow the cutting of trees, it will not only harm the environment but also jeopardize the future of our planet.
I urge the concerned authorities to take immediate and strict action against such practices. Measures should be taken to promote awareness about the importance of trees and to implement laws that prevent unnecessary deforestation.
I hope this issue will receive due attention in your esteemed newspaper.
Yours sincerely,
Anurag
